Paperman

If you haven't seen this already, I fell in love with it a few afternoons ago. And it gave me some hope again in finding the right person, one day, at the right moment.

Life is a series of serendipitous moments on which our choices swivel.

This is why I study literature, and this is why I write and tell stories...to produce things like these. And if I'm lucky maybe one day I'll get to make a living doing it.

Who the hell knows?

Anyway, enjoy :)

  1. I got to analyzing this short. And I finally figured out that I am the paperman. I kept throwing paper airplanes at the FWB because I wanted to make it work. I didn't give up the hope that I'd get to him, eventually, obstacles included. But he also had to be ready to meet me halfway when I finally got to him, and that's where my story is different than this gentleman's...we both got to the platform, but in the end, he didn't want to accept my invitation for coffee, metaphorically speaking.

Life is a series of serendipitous moments on which our choices swivel, but sometimes no matter what we chose the other people involved won't necessarily make the same choices.

    Beautiful storytelling, either way.

Chin up, keep on keepin' on.
